I bought a mini trampoline and working out has never been this fun!
I had an absolute blast doing this rebounding workout my friend suggested. It was exhilarating and effortless, an ideal combination of excitement and fitness.
Rebounding workout is a low-impact exercise that’s easy on your joints, so it’s a great option for those who are recovering from an injury or have other limitations. Plus, jumping on a trampoline can help improve your balance and coordination, while also increasing your cardiovascular endurance. It’s a great way to work on your core strength as well since you have to engage your abs to maintain proper form. Now, you might be thinking, “Okay, jumping on a trampoline sounds fun, but what kind of exercises can I do?”
Here are some simple and easy workouts you can do on a mini trampoline and what they can do for your body:
- The Basic Bounce – this is the most basic move you can do on a mini trampoline. Simply stand on the trampoline and slowly bounce up and down with your both feet landing at the same time. Increase your pace slowly or whenever you want to. This simple move can help improve your balance & coordination.
- Knee Lifts – Another simple but effective exercise. Pump up your heart rate and work your leg and core muscles by alternatively lifting one knee to your chest and then switching to the other!
- Jumping Jacks – This is a great cardio workout! All you have to do is repeatedly jump in the air while extending and bringing back your arms and legs.
- Squat Jump – Start in a squat position with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms extended infront of you. Then, jump up as high as you can, extending your arms overhead. Land back in the squat position and repeat for several reps. This exercise is great for building leg strength and explosive power.
- Trampoline Burpees – Start with a jump and then lower yourself into a push-up position on the trampoline. Do a push-up and then jump your feet back up to your hands. Stand up and do another jump. Repeat for several reps. This exercise is an excellent full-body workout that will get your heart pumping and your muscles working.
I’m discovering all kinds of cool trampoline exercises – and there sure are a lot of them! It’s so much fun learning new ways to stay fit. I these rebounding exercises while listening to my favorite music or watching my favorite TV show. It’s so fun!!!
