Interesting Fact: Inner Body Temperature Affects Weight
Did you know that our inner body temperature actually plays a role in determining whether you lose or gain weight?? Can you believe it?! I It’s truly amazing how our bodies work, isn’t it?
How it works:
The body’s basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the amount of energy (calories) required to maintain basic bodily functions at rest. BMR is influenced by various factors, including body composition, age, gender, and yes, body temperature.
When the body’s core temperature drops, such as in cases of hypothermia or prolonged exposure to cold environments, the basal metabolic rate (BMR) can decrease.
The reason for this decrease in BMR lies in the body’s efforts to conserve energy and maintain internal temperature. When the body senses a drop in temperature, it activates various mechanisms to generate heat, such as shivering and vasoconstriction (narrowing of blood vessels). These mechanisms help to preserve warmth but also lead to a decrease in metabolic activity, resulting in a lower BMR.
A lower BMR means that the body burns fewer calories at rest, which can potentially lead to weight gain if calorie intake remains the same.
In simpler terms, low body temperature can affect weight because when our bodies get cold, they try to conserve energy to keep warm. This conservation of energy means that our bodies burn fewer calories while at rest. When we burn fewer calories, it can lead to weight gain if we continue to eat the same amount of food.
Think of it like a car. When a car is parked and turned off, it doesn’t use any gasoline. Our bodies are similar in that they have a baseline amount of energy they need just to keep us alive, even when we’re not doing anything. This is called our basal metabolic rate (BMR). When our bodies get cold, our BMR can decrease, which means our bodies burn fewer calories while at rest.
Supplement to try:
I stumbled upon these interesting facts when I was researching the supplement that a friend suggested. It’s always good to do some digging and get informed before trying something new, right? Now, let me tell you what I know about Alpilean…
This products stands out from the rest! What makes it special? Well, Alpilean is one of the only products in the world that combines a special blend of alpine nutrients and plants, all carefully selected to address and optimize low inner body temperature. Our bodies operate best within a specific temperature range, and when our core temperature drops, it can affect our overall well-being. Alpilean recognizes this and aims to provide a solution.
By optimizing low inner body temperature, Alpilean aims to help promote a healthy metabolism and energy expenditure. As we discussed earlier, low body temperature can have an impact on our basal metabolic rate (BMR), which affects how many calories our body burns at rest. By supporting a healthy body temperature, Alpilean may indirectly contribute to weight management efforts.
I take Alpilean to kick my metabolism into high gear and turn it into a fat-burning, energy-boosting machine while I sleep!! What I love also love about this is it’s Non-GMO, has no stimulants, and it’s made with natural ingredients!
I’ve only been using this for a short while, but I’ll definitely come back and let you know how it’s going. Stay tuned for my updates on this post!
Disclaimer: It's important to note that Alpilean is not a magic solution for weight loss or a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. It should be used as part of a well-rounded approach to overall wellness, including a balanced diet and regular exercise. As always, consulting with a healthcare professional is recommended to determine if Alpilean is right for you.
